Sound of My Voice

Sound of My Voice is that was released in 2011 by Director Zal Batmanglij (Written by Zal Batmanglij and Brit Marling).

I found the website for this movie extremely unique, but its individuality still paled in comparison to the film. The website demonstrates how a film’s purpose can perfectly match its execution. The complete work is exploring “…what the web experience can do,” taking a conspiracy plot and combining elements of philosophy and realism (Brit Marling). The website builds off of this by interjecting links to footage (and information) found across the web of psychologically menacing images, that, when combined with the film’s optimal effect, creates a multilevel masterpiece.
