This week I made connections that related written story-telling to film. In particular, I related the presentation of a moral in a work of writing to that of a  movie production. The strand that enacted this connection came from a scene in Royal Tenenbaums where Mordecai, a falcon that was released near the end of the movie’s introduction, returns with more white feathers. This change in appearance, as well as the placement of these two occurrences, I found symbolic of the evolution of thesis throughout a story.
